REWINDING VOICE COILS:

If your speaker has stopped working suddenly and has a burned smell or scrapes when you move the cone up and down then you have probably burned out the voice coil. Usually this is caused by too much power for too long, or a fault in your amplifier.

We can rewind most voice coils back to their original specifications by rewinding the same number of turns of the same size wire back on to the voice coil former.

PRICES:

Most coils can be rewound at a cost of about $60 per speaker, but we will quote on each job individually as the condition of the voice coil former must be checked first.
